I live in Australia, and the fact that John Howard wants to make nuclear power move in is nough to scare anyone who also lives here.
1. What happens if one nuclear plant goes into meltdown, then chain reaction causes others within radius to meltdown too? MASS DESTRUCTION, PEOPLE!
2. What are we going to do with all that horribly toxic nuclear waste!? It's a recipie for genetic mutation! The effects may be worse than espestos!
3. Wind and solar power may be expensive, but they aren't about to meltdown or produce toxic waste on mass!
Please, please post what you think on this topic!

Gawd, I live in Australia and I so know what you mean! I heard John Howard say he wouldn't care if he lived next to a nuclear plant. What a complete load. Even I'm not that thick.
*Rolls eyes*
I saw that report too. I'm just as appalled as you two are. Kudos for bringing the topic up. It's one of Australia's one sided Great Debates.
I am from the U.S, but I totally agree with ya. Nuclear related junk is the worst thing that ever happened to this world.
Amen.
At least we'll all die fast, painless (Hopefully) deaths if it melts down.
That's horrible! And besides, if you live away from the blast, but still in range, you end up dying a very slow, horrible death! Anyway the point is to stop John Howard from melting the whole place first, anyway.
We need a leader who will choose health over money.
Good words.
